How can I tell the difference between the "Clear w/ Red Splatter" and the "Red & Blue Split with White Splatter" without opening them? I have both and there are no clear indicators.

Damn... you're right. I'll order them separately in the future. Don't know why they can't just slap a color variant sticker on it like every other label I buy from, but "c'est la vie".

And THAT is why it's a luck of a draw. You'll never know what you'll get from individual copies when you do buy multiple variants in a single order. This is why collectors order them separately to avoid confusion.

Luck of the draw? I specifically ordered the exact variants I desires. The sale wasn't for a random variant. It was for whichever you chose. Because I didn't order them separately, the packing list displays both variants, but the records themselves have no identifying stickers or writing on the spine.

You can't. It's the luck of the draw with record variants.

Some (or many) of the Spread-variant copies have serious tracking problems, but only on Side B. It's not the center hole since side A plays perfectly. I think it has something to do with the stampers. I have two copies and exactly the same problem on both records. Tonearm swings noticably from left to right which leads to serious grinding. I asked Mondo, maybe they find out. Could be possible that only the restocked copies are affected (since Mondo had some "stock problems" with this variant). Not all copies though - as I heard from some people.
