Wherever I May Roam Lyrics. And the road becomes my bride) And the road becomes my bride I have stripped of all but pride So in her I do confide And she keeps me satisfied Gives me all I need And the dust in throat I crave Only knowledge will I save To the game you stay a slave Rover, wanderer Nomad, vagabond Call me what. Oh, but I'll take my time anywhere Free to speak my mind anywhere And I'll redefine anywhere Anywhere I roam Where I lay my head is home, yeah.

Wherever I May Roam is the fifth track on the album Metallica released in 1991 by the heavy metal band Metallica. This track was also implented into the line up of songs in Guitar Hero: Metallica

Metallica loves to tour and they used to have up to 200 shows on their tours. The song talks about the weary travels during and at the end of the tour. Kirk Hammett used it again when they played this with the San Francisco Orchestra in 1999. This can be heard on their album S&M. I've heard Metallica wants to sound more Eastern on the new album, so expect some possible killers like this one. I don't work for Metallica, btw. I just love them so much. The song is high octane energy.
