Soundtrack Recordings from the Film Jimi Hendrix is the soundtrack to the 1973 documentary film, Jimi Hendrix. The double album was released by Reprise Records in July 1973. Backed by a changing lineup of musicians, he has toured since the late 1980s on what has been dubbed "the Never Ending Tour". Since 1994, Dylan has published eight books of drawings and paintings, his work has been exhibited in major art galleries, he has sold more than 100 million records, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Nevertheless, even these deplorable stabs are pertinent to those of us who revere the man’s genius. However, in the end, this LP can only be recommended to the staunchest of the Hendrix faithful. Consumer Guide Album. Jimi Hendrix: Sound Track Recordings from the Film "Jimi Hendrix" "Johnny B. Goode" has about two-thirds the volume and brightness of the original, and the stuff from Band of Gypsys has lost clarity. None of the previously unreleased music is exceptional, although all of it is interesting, especially an early twelve-string blues. The interviews aren't bad, and at least they're at the end of each side. I wouldn't, and didn't, throw away a free copy-just filed it where the sun don't shine.
