Nazz - III mp3 album

The Nazz was an American rock band formed in Philadelphia in 1967 by guitarist Todd Rundgren and bassist Carson Van Osten. Rundgren wrote virtually all of the group's original material. Drummer Thom Mooney and Robert "Stewkey" Antoni joined before their first concert, opening for the Doors in 1967. They are best known for their debut single "Open My Eyes" backed with "Hello It's Me".

Originally intended as a double album titled Fungo Bat, Nazz Nazz is at once as equally diverse and more cohesive than the Nazz's eponymous debut. Throughout the Nazz's first record, he proved that he was a gifted mimic and a savvy melodicist, yet he never quite landed upon a signature style outside of their debut single "Hello It's Me"/"Open My Eyes. Not coincidentally, these were the two songs on the record.

Nazz is the self-titled debut album by psychedelic rock group Nazz. It was released in 1968. The track "Open My Eyes" was accompanied by a promo video, directed by Ray Dennis Steckler. The album also featured the original version of what would become guitarist Todd Rundgren's signature song, "Hello It's Me", when Rundgren re-recorded it several years later as a solo single for his double album Something/Anything?.
