Various - A Reason For Living 1999 - Japanese 32 Bands Comp.!! mp3 album

An album is a collection of audio recordings issued as a collection on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium. Albums of recorded music were developed in the early 20th century as individual 78-rpm records collected in a bound book resembling a photograph album; this format evolved after 1948 into single vinyl LP records played at 33 1⁄3 rpm. Vinyl LPs are still issued, though album sales in the 21st-century have mostly focused on CD and MP3 formats.

The best-selling music artists in Japan include Japanese artists with claims of 15 million or more record sales. Japan is the largest physical music market in the world and the second largest overall behind the United States, and the biggest in Asia, according to International Federation of the Phonographic Industry

The second album in a conceptual series of two albums (the other being New Sky) by this influential folk ensemble led by Takashi Nishioka. Very folky in structure but with gorgeous swirling keyboards, buidling harmonies and bizarre arrangements. Known for his angry delivery and tortured poetic vociferation, Mikami was immensely popular in the Japanese folk underground from album one, and continues to be a highly influential figure in Japanese music and art. – Jake Orrall. Yoshio Hayakawa ‘Salvia No Hana’ from Kakkoii Koto Wa Nante Kakkowaruinndarou (1969). The title translates to Things That Are Cool Are Somehow So Uncool

Discover ten of the best Japanese shoegaze bands right here. Formed in 2001, this Osaka band has released two lovely albums: a self-titled LP and the mini-album Sakura River. These guys are a delightful mélange of fuzz, dream pop, psychedelia, with subtle icing of sugary pop. Even better, you can listen and download here for free. Yup, there are three Rs in their name. This trio of Tokyo savants came together in 2005, and have only released one album I could find, Blaze Down.

Everything from Jackie Chan, Aya Ueto, and Kou Shibasaki to Japanese girl bands like Ayumi Hamasaki are included on this list of jpop groups.
