Unknown Artist - Hello, Dolly! / I Believe In You mp3 album

I Believe in You is the forty-sixth solo studio album and first children's album by American country music singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. It was released digitally on September 29, 2017, and physically on October 13, 2017, by Dolly Records and RCA Nashville. All proceeds from the album's sales will go to benefit Parton's Imagination Library.

In 1995, country legend Dolly Parton founded the Imagination Library, a charity that promotes literacy and delivers over a million books a year to children around the world. The follow-up to 2016's chart-topping Pure & Simple, the amicable I Believe in You, finds Parton delivering her first collection of children's music, a 14-track set of originals - go, Dolly! - that includes a new recording of her 1971 hit "Coat of Colors" as well as a bonus cut of Parton reading from her 2015 book of the same name.

Redirected from Hello Dolly (song)). Hello, Dolly!" is the title song of the popular 1964 musical of the same name. Louis Armstrong's version was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2001. The music and lyrics were written by Jerry Herman, who also wrote the scores for many other popular musicals including Mame and La Cage aux Folles. Hello, Dolly!" was first sung by Carol Channing, who starred as Dolly Gallagher Levi in the original 1964 Broadway cast

Hello Dolly exploded onto Broadway in January of 1964, making a superstar of Carol Channing, sweeping the Tony's and eventually running for seven years with successive casts, setting a record for its day. The title song was suddenly everywhere, especially in the version by Louis Armstrong that became the biggest hit in his long career. The Original Cast album was recorded only three days after the opening, with the cast totally taken with their success and their enthusiasm comes through in every track. This was composer Jerry Herman's first mega-hit musical, and he reached back to the music that was popular at the time the story was set to concoct a brilliant score steeped in Ragtime, Vaudeville, and the marches, waltzes and polkas that were the pop music of the day.
