THANKYOU to the Maestro and the Band for an epic performance of Mahler One at DMH last night one of the best live performances of the work I have heard in over fifty years concert-going, aided by the magnificent acoustics of our hall. The Brass, in particular were in vintage form, but everyone was on her/his mettle tonight. Bodes well for the RFH.
