Sinner is the debut album by the American heavy metal band Drowning Pool, released on June 5, 2001 by Wind-up Records. The album is the band's most popular album, being certified platinum in the same year that it was released. This was due at least in part to "Bodies" which remains the band's most well-known song. This is the only studio album by the band to feature original lead singer Dave Williams. While touring in support of Sinner, he died on August 14, 2002 from cardiomyopathy.

Drowning Pool is the eponymous fourth studio album by American rock band Drowning Pool. It was released on April 27, 2010 and is the band's first album not to feature a different singer, as Ryan McCombs remained with Drowning Pool after their 2007 album Full Circle, although he did, however, leave the band in 2011 to rejoin his previous band SOiL. The song "Feel Like I Do" was released as a digital single

It’s almost impossible to look at Drowning Pool as the same band they were in 2002. A lot has changed since then. As we all know, Dave Williams died of heart failure in his tour bus while on tour for their debut album, Sinner. Since then, the band have wandered aimlessly album through album trying to recapture what they lost in what was such a promising sound.
